i only realized how frequently i heard adults tell me “boys don’t like it when you do that” as i grew up
no wonder a lot of girls grow up trying to please every guy in their life and care so much about what guys think of them that they try not to do anything that they think will turn them away even if it means repressing whatever intelligent thoughts they have and hiding who they really are because a guy’s standard is the standard they were taught to live up to
